एक बार फिर पेंशन बिल विलम्बित !! 

यू.पी.ए. सरकार द्वारा एक बार फिर अपना बहुमत बचाने के प्रयास में ‘पेंशन बिल’ को विलम्बित कर दिया गया. ममता बेनर्जी को खुश रखने के लिए आखिर सरकार कब तक देश और नागरिकों का नुक्सान करेगी.. यह विषय चिंतनीय है..

क्या आप यू.पी.ए. सरकार की इस कार्यप्रणाली से सहमत हैं? पिछले तीन सालों में इस यू.पी.ए. सरकार ने एक भी ऐसा निर्णय नहीं लिया है जिससे देश की आर्थिक स्थिति व आम ज़िन्दगी में सुधार हो और महंगाई में कमी आए! जो भी अच्छे बदलाव किए जाने थे वह सहयोगी दलों के असहयोग से नहीं किए जा सके और सरकार को अपनी सत्ता बचाने के लिए घुटने टेकने पड़े..

क्या देश की जनता अगले 2 सालों तक ऐसी निष्क्रिय सरकार को झेलने के लिए मजबूर है? क्या ऐसी सरकार को चले नहीं जाना चाहिए ??

She shares her dedication as citizen,

She shares everything as she cares,

Do you care to share equality, enterprise and esteem with her…?

On this Women’s Day, every man must ask this question to himself…Seeing the increasing crime rate against women in the society, I am really hurt or rather shocked. In country like India where women is worshiped in form of motherland, durga, saraswati and laxmi, how can man get so inhuman and brutal with her…? It is not acceptable to my heart at all. If you are ‘the man’ then please change your attitude towards women and give them equal stature and respect in society which they deserve and if you are ‘the woman’, don’t let pitrasatta belief rule you or your coming generations.

Increasing crimes is not the only disgusting factor to think about, the reason behind it is even more horrendous. Here in India, boys grow with the belief that women are weak and powerless, and girls grow with the fear of being tortured and abandoned without boys. With these beliefs somehow boys develop that criminal psychology of dominating women at all levels be it in home or office which turns out in domestic violence or harassment at work place at times. According to National Crime Records Bureau there were 2,13,585 cases registered in 2010 under crime against women which includes cases of kidnapping & abduction, sexual harassment, dowry death, rape, torture, molestation, importation of girls, trafficking, indecent representation of women, etc. These statistics are extremely terrifying. And no one can improve this condition expect you and me. Each one of us has to take steps at individual level for improving the status of women. Do you know according to Unicef’s Global Report Card on Adolescents 2012, 57% boys in India think a husband is justified in hitting or beating his wife while around 53% girls think that a husband is justified in beating his wife. With this pitrasatta mentality, women can never progress and get the equal love, care, respect and dedication in the family & society.

Never forget the rule of life ‘we get what we give and we give what we get’. So, whatever you don’t want to receive never think of giving it to anyone. Give respect to women and you will get it. Woman is always more dedicated towards family, society and nation, so respect her for her contribution.

And at last, as I always say Paad Pooja is an age-old Hindu tradition which we must follow to respect women and give them the respect they deserve. This tradition can help in breaking this ‘pitrasatta’ mentality.

Today, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, all I want to say is ‘all men take a vow to share equality, enterprise and esteem with woman’, and ‘I request all women to promise themselves to stand for self respect & rights.

Visarjan of 7 Sins in Kumbh

India is a land of spiritual people where all the festivals, days, events, business beliefs, lifestyle adaptations and major activities of life revolve around religious beliefs. Kumbh Mela is one such belief which results in the biggest gathering of people on Earth.

Kumbh Mela is organized every third year at one of the four pilgrimages by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad (Prayag), Nasik and Ujjain. With a mass faith of Hindus to gather at a sacred river for a bath and purification of the soul from all the sins, this meal became the biggest event of the country too. It is believed in Hinduism that drops of nectar fell from the Kumbh carried by gods after the sea was churned at these four places and people gather to get rid of effects of sins which happened intentionally or unintentionally. For making the Soul pure & pious, people travel thousands of kilometres to take a bath in Kumbh.

It is believed in every religion that wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony are the 7 sins that are a hindrance in the path to salvation. These are the sins which bring the evil characteristics in human and take them away from god. Kumbh Mela is a place to wash out all sins and get time to devote to worshipping god.

This year (2013), Kumbh Mela is organized at Allahabad and up to 100 million pilgrims are about to visit in this duration. This meal is organized for one and a half months and Indian Government arranges and manages all the functions from travelling, boarding, food and security for millions. It is not only a religious celebration in the country but a huge business affair too. It’s an opportunity for almost every big brand to advertise their product in masses and in fact it’s a chance to make people experience. Business is at its peak in these months. Allahabad is the centre of attraction for every brand. And apart from pilgrims, there are reporters, advertisers, guards, administration team, workers, management team, etc. for their respective tasks. Even celebrities and biggies visit Kumbh and maintaining their security is another challenge. Managing this gigantic facility and a massive crowd is a big responsibility. This year somehow stampede and fire turned off the spirit of many pilgrims and people decided to stay safe at home rather than visiting Kumbh and get stuck in commotion.

Seeing the present scenario I am getting even more concerned about the next Kumbh Mela in Ujjain (2016). Preparations are going well but we will make sure for more security arrangements and better facilities to avoid such mishaps. Our team is now more focused on safety measures.

हैदराबाद में हुए ब्लास्ट की खबर सुनकर बहुत दुःख हुआ. हादसे में मारे गए देशवासियों के परिजनों को भगवान शक्ति दें व केंद्र सरकार को सद्बुद्धि दें कि वह वास्तविकता में आतंकवाद के असली स्वरूप को समझे एवं आतंकवाद का जड़ से सफाया करने के लिए कारगर कदम उठाए व आम नागरिकों को भयमुक्त वातावरण मुहैया करने के लिए दृढ संकल्पित होवें!

Let’s be Practical!

Hello Everyone! I am sure you must have heard or said ‘Let’s be Practical’ at least once. This is such a statement which we come across in our day to day life, but do you know why we use it so often…because being practical means not pondering upon the issues, problems or situations but it’s all about finding the solution. Seeking solutions is the only way out to live a successful life.

Politics is one such field that gives an opportunity to solve the problems prevalent in society or to actualize the developments which we wish and dream to have in our city or country. Politics is all about being practical. So, with this blog, I want to grab the attention of youth towards politics. I know youth is highly active on social networking sites and they express their views, aggression and suggestions effectively here, but just expression is not sufficient… So let’s be practical because to bring effects one has to act. I want them to take one more step and along with online politics, they must start participating in offline politics too i.e. on ground participation.

Youth have a wrong notion about Politics. Politics is not limited to running the governments only politics is everywhere. So first of all, I would like to present the definition of Politics to make the picture clearer – “Politics is the art or science of influencing people on a civic or individual level when there are more than 2 people involved.” So, don’t you think youth face this ‘Politics’ in other facades of life including the corporate world? They do and at times they face failure, defeat, and betrayal in this office politics. But with time and experience, they learn to deal with it. Similarly ‘Politics’ is a profession where one has to work for the nation and not just for a company and strives for the betterment of complete society, instead of oneself and colleagues only. So, don’t you think this career option has a better and wider scope to explore one’s management skills and capabilities…Besides; the feeling of serving humanity and bringing a smile on faces is so pious and divine. Youth must think seriously about Politics, so that nation gets a new, enthusiastic, and modern approach to solving the age-old issues and prejudices as well.

Like doctors and engineers, Politicians also get experience and mastery of making sincere and right decisions for society over the period of time. There is no better career than Politics to bring the desired changes in the society, city, state and nation at large.

I am sorry if someone is hurt by hearing Politics and Career together, but let’s be practical to take Politics seriously. I wish to see more vibrant, energetic and positive people in Politics for the betterment of My nation, Your nation, Our nation!

लक्ष्मण रेखा पार करोगे तो कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी

मैंने स्त्री, पुरुष, शिक्षक, पत्रकार, कर्मचारी, पिता, पुत्र, भाई, नागरिक, सम्पूर्ण समाज के सन्दर्भ में यह बात कही है कि ‘लक्ष्मण रेखा पार करोगे तो कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी’. सम्पूर्ण समाज अगर मर्यादित रहेगा तो विकृति नहीं आएगी. लक्ष्मण रेखा सभी पर लागू होती है, हर कहीं पर लागू होती है…वो आपके आचरण, रहन-सहन, भाषा, आप कहाँ जाते हैं, किसके साथ उठते-बैठते हैं, आपके मित्र कैसे हैं, आप किस से क्या शेयर करते हैं…हर बात पर लागू होती है. लक्ष्मण रेखा का अर्थ बहुत वृहद है और यह रामराज्य के समय से हम भारतियों की रक्षा करती आ रही है…मगर इसे लांघने वाले को स्वभाविकतः कहीं न कहीं, किसी न किसी रूप में, कोई न कोई नुक्सान तो होगा ही…

मैंने सिर्फ रामायण जैसे महान ग्रन्थ से सीखी एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात को शेयर किया है…रावण तो सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड में अलग-अलग रूपों में कुछ न कुछ लूटने के लिए तैयार बैठ हैं…

मेरी सभी देशवासियों से अपील है कि अपना उचित-अनुचित स्वविवेक के आधार पर निर्धारित करें और अपनी लक्ष्मण रेखा की परभाषा स्वयं बनाएं!
